If Entropy is Fate

Don’t make me cry over hostility.

I don’t care much for opposition.

The tone has shifted into a gear that cannot be lifted.

Stuck in place,

we go back and fourth.

We never learn,

there is no remorse.

Petty crimes that are self-inflicted -

I cut your flesh, and yet I am wounded.

The flies can sense it from the wall.

As my temperature rises, yours begins to fall.

Never aligned,

but maybe we are.

‘Cause if entropy is fate,

then you’re my star.
